What is Makhi Hindi Movie 2012?
Makhi Hindi Movie 2012 is the Hindi dubbed version of Eega, a Telugu-language film that was released in 2012. The film was directed by S.S. Rajamouli, one of the most acclaimed and successful filmmakers in Indian cinema. Rajamouli is known for his epic and visionary movies, such as Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), which are among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
Background
The idea for Eega (which means "fly" in Telugu) came to Rajamouli when he was watching an episode of National Geographic Channel about insects. He was fascinated by the intelligence and survival skills of flies and wondered how they would react if they had human emotions. He then decided to make a film about a man who is reborn as a fly after being killed by a villain and seeks revenge on his murderer.
Rajamouli wrote the story for Eega in 1999 but shelved it for several years because he felt that the technology was not advanced enough to create realistic visual effects for the fly character. He also faced difficulties in finding producers who were willing to invest in such an unconventional project. However, after the success of his previous films Magadheera (2009) and Maryada Ramanna (2010), he was able to secure enough funding and support to make Eega.
Eega was made with a budget of 260 million (US$3.6 million) and took two years to complete. The film involved extensive use of computer-generated imagery (CGI) for the fly character, which was created by Makuta VFX, a Hyderabad-based company that also worked on Rajamouli's Baahubali films. The film also featured live-action actors who interacted with the fly using props and green screens.
